Hey!

A coloured version of that previous gif I posted. The girl is uncoloured because she is possessed by a monster which I haven't yet added in.

He's saying: "I got these flowers for you." But uhh... yeah...Bad animating. Still got a long way to go.

Lorinthia's Eyes

Once upon a time, there was a girl who had beautiful blue eyes. They were the blue of aquamarine gems, and unfathomable as the ocean.

One day, she was walking through the forest to her grandfather's house, when a witch appeared and said: "My, my, my...What lovely eyes you have my child." As she was saying this, the witch ran her thin twig-like fingers down the girl's face.

"Thank you, old lady." The girl said as politely as possible, but also trying to slip away slowly from the hideous witch.

"Wouldn't it be wonderful if I had one of those pretty eyes? Hm? You have two, so you have one to spare, don't you, young woman?" The witch rubbed her hands in a greedy way.

The girl decided to run. As she turned the witch grabbed her arm and chanted an evil spell, as her voice rose and fell, the girl felt an immense pain in her left eye. It felt as if the witch has dug her thin fingers into her eye socket, and groped for her eyeball. She screamed and writhed, giving all her effort to escape the witch, but her limbs felt like dead weight and the witch's fingers sunk into her arm. Then suddenly, with a powerful tug of a spell, her left eye was taken from her.

The witch prized the mystic blue eye, still stained in blood in her two wrinkled hands. She shrieked in laughter and disappeared in a cloud of wicked smoke.

The girl wept on the forest floor alone, her hand covering the bloody hole where her eye used to be. As she cried her tears mixed with blood ran down her face, smudged by her hair, creating a hellish creature.

As she wept and sobbed helplessly, there was a gentle hand placed on her shoulder. As she looked up with her remaining blue eye; and she saw a young man standing before her. His blonde hair glistened in the sunlight like gold, his face was handsome and angelic.

Very gingerly, he lifted her chin with one hand. It was warm and strong like the sun. "Poor thing," he said, "the Witch of Sorrow got to you." His voice was almost like a whisper, but it was magnetic. The girl looked at this mysterious man, it was as if there was a glow around him, and his scent was a mix of sunlight and fresh citrus. His attire seemed foreign and regal. But what really made the girl captivated was his deep red eyes. What an enchanting shade. It was like dancing fire on crimson roses.

Speechless, the girl nodded, and more blood tears rolled down her pale cheeks. The man took her in his arms and kissed her wound. His lips were soft like raindrops, but certain like fire. As he let her go from his embrace, the pain from her left socket immediately subsided. She felt for it, and there it was, her eye was back! The girl wanted to thank the man, but he was gone out of sight. There was nothing left but the trees and bird song in the forest.

The girl quickly picked herself up and ran to her grandfather's house to tell him what had happened in the morning. After she had finished her story, the old man leaned forward and said: "You have encountered the two most powerful people in the known world today, my child. The Witch of Sorrow, and the King of Flames... Look." As he was saying this, he held up a small mirror to the girl's face.

And there she saw, her missing blue eye was replaced by a glowing red one. The exact same shade as the young man who helped her in the forest.

Lorinthia and Uyoru

Once there was a beautiful girl named Lorinthia. She was quiet and reserved. Lorinthia was the daughter of the rulers of her country, and all her life she was sheltered by her parents, as she was the only child of the royal family.

One day, she slipped out of the palace without her parents permission. She walked through the forests of the country and came the deep lake.

There, she took out some crumbs and fed the colourful fish swimming in the water. When she leaned over the edge, she saw something curious in the water. She looked carefully, and she went down closer. Suddenly, the water leaped out and dragged her into its depths.

Struggling to break free, Lornthia looked up as the light from the upper world became dimmer and dimmer. When she hit the bottom, a blue light glowed before her. For some strange reason, Lorinthia was not striving for air. The light turned into a figure. A figure that resembled herself.

"Hello," said the other girl, "I am a prisoner of another dimension, locked here by my own husband who abandoned me. I have been imprisoned for 500 years. And I can only be freed if someone who resembled my appearance came to take my place in this watery dungeon."

She smiled, "Now that you are here, I can finally escape." By saying that, the girl tied a strange black amulet around Lorinthia's neck. Once it was secured, the girl floated up to the surface. Lorinthia tried to follow. But the weight of the amulet would not allow  her to swim upwards. Stuck at the bottom of the lake, she was all alone, with only the fish that came and went.

As time passed, the increasing loneliness became overwhelming. Lorinthia cried tears that were carried away by the surrounding water. "I miss mother and father...I miss everyone up there on the land!" she cried. And as if her words were heard by God, the fish swam to Lorinthia and surrounded her in their various colours. Together they lifted Lorinthia up to the surface. The light became brighter and brighter as they got closer to the water's surface. And finally, Lorinthia breathed clear, dry air again.

She climbed out of the lake, and she thanked the fish. Strangely enough, her clothes were not wet. Lorinthia ran to the palace.

When she got there, she found that the girl who dragged her into the water dungeon was sitting on the throne. She had pushed over Lorinthia's parents' reign, and made herself as ruler. The people all hated her, but they were also frightened by her formidable powers. When the royal officials saw the arrival of the rightful heir, they were overjoyed. The girl on the throne seemed surprised: "How did you escape the prison? Did you, too, find a replacement?"

"I am not as foul as you," replied Lorinthia "I have come to take back what is mine."

The girl laughed, "Fine. Let us duel. Who ever lives, wins. But I must say, I, Uyoru, will not lose to the likes of you." Having said that, she drew out a sword from her hand. The length of the sword exceeded Uyoru's own height. Lorinthia also drew out her own sword; its blade is clear as crystal, and indestructible like diamond.

The two fought for seven days and seven nights. Then finally, Lorinthia had the upper hand and slew the female tyrant.

The people rejoiced as Lorinthia stepped in to the throne. And the land was at peace at last.

The Kea and Takahe

*The kea and takahe mentioned in the story below are native flightless birds from New Zealand.

The kea is an endangered species and the world's largest parrot. It is also highly intelligent.

The takahe is also an endangered species. It was thought to be extinct for some time but was rediscovered later on.

The Cat Who Wished to be a Bird

A long long time ago, there lived a tribe of people who were the descendants of felines. They lived happily together in peace and harmony.

One family was an exception. They were always noisy and had arguments all the time. Why were they always arguing? Well, the only daughter of that family, that is, Mr. and Mrs. Q's daughter, wanted to learn how to fly. It was absolutely absurd for a feline to fly, or so her parents thought.

"Yo-yo," Mr. Q said in a very serious tone, "a nice young lady like you should not be dreaming about achieving such ludicrous things."

"But papa, you said yourself that I can be anything I want! And I want to be a flying bird!" Yo-yo exclaimed.

These arguments would on without end.

One day, Yo-yo became so fed up with her family, that she took off on her own to find someone who was willing to teach her how to fly. She walked far away from the feline clan with her little backpack, in search of potential flying masters.

She met a little brown kiwi in the bush.

"Hello little bird, can you teach me how to fly?" She asked. The kiwi was afraid at first, for he knew cats ate birds, but seeing that Yo-yo was friendly, he answered: "I'm sorry, cat-girl. For I am not a flying bird." Yo-yo thanked the kiwi, and walked away sadly.

Then, she met an ostrich sitting in her nest. Surely those huge wings would be able to fly, Yo-yo thought to herself. And she asked the ostrich: "Hi there, Mrs. Ostrich, can you teach me the secrets of flight?" The ostrich shook her head: "Sorry, dear. I wouldn't have a clue. And besides, I have eggs to hatch." So Yo-yo walked along disappointed.

On her journey she was able to encounter many birds, the dodo, the chicken, the emu, the *takahe, the *kea...but they were all flightless birds. Yo-yo became desperate, and she climbed a large tree to look for bird's nest. Unfortunately, her uninvited presence only earned her a bunch of scoldings and shrieks from every bird family in the tree.

Yo-yo sat on a branch after apologizing to all of the poor birds. She sighed deeply and watched the blue sky. How wonderful would it be if I was able to reach those clouds, she thought.

Suddenly, out of the blue, swooped down a majestic figure. It landed swiftly on the same branch as Yo-yo was sitting on. It was a magnificent eagle standing before her. She was completely blown away by the eagle's flight. For she had never seen a bird fly so high before.

"Please be my master and teach me how to fly, Mr. Eagle!" Yo-yo begged.

The eagle laughed, "Hohoho, but of course, child!"

And he stretched out his large wings and took hold of Yo-yo's shoulders with his strong talons, and they were off! They flew up, up and up. Into the clouds, over rivers and mountains and forests.

Yo-yo had always dreamed of this moment. She closed her eyes, tears formed. Her dream was finally about to come true.

The eagle flew far with her. "When are you going to teach me how to fly like you?" Yo-yo asked. "Soon." The eagle replied.

They arrived at the top of the highest mountain. And the eagle put her down gently. "This is where I live, young cat-girl. Meet my family." said the eagle. Yo-yo looked, and there were three fluffy grey chicks sitting in a nest. "Hello!" Yo-yo greeted.

The chicks came closer to this stranger. They examined her closely. And they tore her into pieces and ate her.

The eagle is, after all, a bird of prey. They would never let an easy prey like Yo-yo escape.

Random Short Stories

Hello, I like to make up stupid stories. Some are from my dreams and some are inspired from movies and comics I've watched and read...Hope you enjoy them...

The Water

"Please allow me to tell you a story, listen carefully dear children." said Grandma May; and when everyone had settled, she began:

"Once upon a time, a country was known for its clear flowing water. No matter what season or what climate, the rivers and lakes would sparkle with fresh purity. The most magical thing about the water was that it would not freeze even in cold harsh winters, nor would it dry up in scorching droughts. The people were nourished by the blessing of the beautiful water. Crops were able to grow all year around, and all the neighboring countries came to buy food from the still flourishing Water Country during famines.

Now the king of this country was a handsome, kind man. He fought bravely in battles and he loved all his people; and they loved him, for he was just and fair. But he was aging, and with no wife to bear him sons, the people became worried that there would be no one to lead them once the king passed on. So all the officials under the king tried to find him a suitable wife, but the king would not take in any of the young, lovely women that were presented to him. Even the princesses of far away lands wanted to be his queen, but the king turned them all down.

One day, the king was walking around a lake outside the palace. The waterlilies were in bloom, and they carpeted the crystal lake in a blanket of white and pink. Just then, the king noticed a maiden playing in the water. Her ravishing beauty immediately captivated the king, and he fell in love with her instantly. The king approached her, and asked for her hand in marriage. The maiden blushed, and she accepted the king's proposal.

The people were overjoyed when the king and the girl were married. There was joy in the country for a long time.

One year, a man discovered something in the water. Something he has never seen before; it was a little piece of shining solid gold. The people were all curiously excited of this new thing that was found in the water. And more people started to dig deep into the rivers in search of this wonderful gold. The country has found its new treasure. They sold gold to all the neighboring, and the more profit they earned, the greedier they became. They started to mine hungrily for more of the soft rare metal, draining their once precious lakes and rivers. The queen became more and more distressed by the dwindling water in the country. More than thrice has she begged her king to stop the people from further mining. The king, knowing that the gold would be far more valuable than mere water, ignored his queen's plead. He knew there was still plenty of water to go around.

The lake where the king and queen first met was also in threat of being drained. It was during the waterlily season again, and the workers were enthusiastically pulling each flower out in hopes of finding more gold. When the queen learnt of this, she desperately pleaded with her husband to leave that lake and the waterlilies alone. But the king, in his stubbornness could not listen to a word his queen said. The workers continued to pluck the waterlilies out, day and night. During the last night of their labor, they discovered a glowing blue waterlily hiding among others. The small warm glow seemed to be speaking out to the workers, but nonetheless the workers reached out to pull it out from the water. The waterlily, though small, gripped the watery floor with tenacious strength. The workers had no choice but to cut the flower off from its roots. A large saw was needed to chop the small flower, and as soon as the bloom was separated from the roots, the blue glow disappeared.

The king woke up from his dream of gold the following morning. When he turned, he discovered that his queen was no longer lying beside him. He uncovered the sheets, and found a small, blue waterlily, withered up in the place where his beloved wife laid."

These are just some drawings I did with Easy Paint Tool SAI. Some were completely light-hearted doodles and some I actually put in some effort...They still look tacky...Meh.

Marker Pen Drawings

These are some drawings I did about a year ago with marker pens. They're not Copics, because I'm cheap and bought some unknown brand...

War of the Marks

"War of the Marks" on MangaMagazine

This is my own original comic series. I haven't touched on it for a long time but when I get the time...one day... I will continue this 'legacy' of mine.

I started this comic/manga in my last year of high school. At first it was merely because I was bored...But then when I talked to my brother about this light-hearted comic he became very excited and started telling me these amazing stories he had in his mind. He was very into guns and weaponry, and he gave me inspiration. So I decided to go along with the story. I would always share my ideas with my brother, and we would have a lot of fun discussing the possible outcomes of the story, and we enjoyed laughing at all the funny dilemmas a character would run into. Thank you, Little Brother, for showing me that this comic could be taken further.

I love imagining things, and I really enjoy sharing it with people who would listen and find pleasure in it.

If I had to choose to work, I want to be either a comic artist or an animator. Because they bring interesting stories to people visually. Characters come with solid forms and settings are visually presented.

Anyway, sorry about the ramble. Please give this comic a chance. I hope you enjoy it.
