The Kea and Takahe

*The kea and takahe mentioned in the story below are native flightless birds from New Zealand.

The kea is an endangered species and the world's largest parrot. It is also highly intelligent.

The takahe is also an endangered species. It was thought to be extinct for some time but was rediscovered later on.
